After 14 years of managing a technology-based public company, the founder and CEO needed assistance developing and implementing an exit strategy.

Working with the existing management team (although they were not aware of the CEO's ultimate goal), we developed an 18-month plan to better position the company's products in its sector, improve its investor relations strategy, reach out to larger shareholders and invest in a public relations campaign to improve overall awareness of the company and it's product line.

Results:

In 15 months the market capitalization grew from $19.5 million to $290 million and the company was acquired. All executive management delivered on the developed strategic plan, all investors were patient and allowed the stock to reach its own level without significant profit-taking, and CPointe's services were delivered with a return to the shareholders of more than 30 times the original IPO investment.
