Jack is a catalyst for action. With over 25 years of hands-on executive management experience in retail, operations, technology, and manufacturing, he has been associated with small business startups as well as large company turnarounds. His logistics and supply chain management experience has served him well in operations positions with Asia manufacturing partners supplying US retail partners.
Jack specialty has been assisting investment firms turn low profit companies profitable and preparing them for sale. One of this latest projects has been serving on a company’s board and performing the duties and responsibilities of the CEO and President for a billiard manufacturing company with retail outlets in Atlanta and Orlando. His prior experience includes the turnaround strategy for Computer City, a Tandy (Radio Shack) Company where Jack served as the VP for New Business Development and Software Products. In the role as New Business Development, Jack trained a team to investigate appropriate sectors to compete in which such considerations as competition and internal business acumen to meet customer expectations. The team building and operational planning experience materially contributed to the turnaround and sale of Computer City to a major retail company in twelve months.
Previously Jack was Vice President, Operations, a key member of the eMachine Inc. executive team. In this capacity he was responsible for management of the supply chain of products from Korea to the U.S. to include customs and warehousing challenges. The team led by Jack was responsible for meeting tight deadlines from major retail partners especially in the fourth quarter. Team building and group planning were milestones of the programs put in place to insure quality control and expert response to customer requirements. His prior experience also includes VP for Merchandise at Blockbuster, Inc., National Sales Manager at Kodak, and VP and General Manager at Treat Entertainment, the children’s book, Department 7, manager for all Wal Mart stores
