For the past 20 years, Tom Dose led as many as 1500 associates for Payless ShoeSource in Illinois, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Hawaii and California. Responsible for over 300 stores and 12 districts, Tom's "hands on" approach ensured operational and merchandising standards that delivered strong financial results. With a total of over 30 years in retail he has a background that includes opening new concepts, new regions and new stores for Target, Home Depot and Montgomery Ward.
Tom's expertise in retail real estate includes site selection and lease negotiations - making him one of the foremost experts in the West. His experience with urban, suburban, mall based, strip center, border location, big box and specialty stores highlights his resume.
His passion though is developing people. He is regarded as an exceptional teacher, trainer and presenter. Tom leads CPointe's Custom Management Training© division. He has a degree in Communication from Winona State University in Minnesota.
